orasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
Welcome to Voices From the Dust
This site is dedicated to the message of the ancients of the house of Israel, the ancient covenant people of Jehovah, whose message to the modern world was hid up in the bowels of the earth, on the American continent, for centuries, waiting to be brought forth, as voices whispering to us from the dust, by the gift and power of God, unto the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations.
The coming forth of this sealed book, in connection with the gathering of Israel in preparation for the second coming of Christ, described as a marvelous work and wonder to be performed by the great Jehovah, is in fulfillment of Bible prophecy found in the 29th Chapter of the Book of Isaiah.

The Voice of Warning

"...For be it known unto [Kings, Presidents, Governors, Rulers and People of all nations], that the only salvation which remains for the Gentiles, is for them to be identified in the same covenant, and to worship at the same altar with Israel. In short, they must come to the same standard; for there shall be one Lord, and his name one, and He shall be king over all the earth...."

-- 1845 Proclamation of the Twelve Apostles

His Terrible Swift Sword
(The Battle Hymn of the Republic)

The marvelous work of the Lord, which shall destroy the wisdom of the world's wise and the understanding of its leaders, is now rolling forth, as a stone cut out of a mountain without hands.

Meanwhile, mankind is threatened by a mob of criminal elitists, in league with the devil. These people are now bending their bow; Indeed, they are making ready their arrow upon the string, that they may secretly shoot at the upright in heart, to destroy their foundation.

But it is only the foundations of the wicked that shall be destroyed, and what can they do? Yea, the terrible one shall be brought to naught and the scorner consumed, and all the wicked that watch for iniquity shall be cut off: Those that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that speaks the truth to power, and those that turn aside the just for a thing of naught, shall all be cut off.

Israel, Israel, God is Calling
(Israel, Israel God is Calling)

On the other hand, as a result of the marvelous work and wonder that the Lord is proceeding to do among this people, the deaf ears of the descendants of Jacob are hearing the words of their fathers, which are contained in the sealed book that he has brought forth out of the earth for them.

The book contains the words of them who have slumbered in the dust of ancient America, the words of his ancient covenant people, who were led to America by Jesus Christ and given this land, as their everlasting inheritance. They testify of him, with great power and authority, witnessing that he is indeed the Son of God, the Redeemer of mankind, who rose from the dead, and ministered to them in the flesh.

Consequently, given this astonishing knowledge, this new testimony of Jesus Christ, the eyes that were blind are now seeing out of darkness and out of obscurity. Now, they cease their murmurings, as they learn sound doctrine. Now, their spiritual stumbling blocks are falling, as their understandings become enlightened with the Spirit of God.

Now, the face of Jacob, their father, no longer turns pale in view of the frightful ignorance and the awful disbelief that used to be theirs, because he sees them being gathered together, as chicks beneath the wings of their mother hen, and they do sanctify the name of the Holy One of Jacob, and fear the God of Israel, just as the great Jehovah said they would.

However, because the Lord has sent righteousness down from heaven and has sent forth truth out of the earth, as a witness to all nations that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, bearing witness of his resurrection from the dead and the resurrection of all men, that he might gather together his elect from the four quarters of the earth, and establish among them his Zion, many fight against Mount Zion and are determined to stop it.

But they should know that the Lord has declared that the multitude of all the nations that fight against Zion, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
It shall even be as when a hungry man dreams, and, behold, he eats in his dream; but he awakens, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams, and, behold, he drinks; but he awakens, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul has appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion. They cannot prevail.

The Nations are Drunken with Iniquity
(Redeemer of Israel)

For behold, all ye that doeth iniquity, saith the Lord, stay yourselves, and wonder, for ye shall cry out, and cry; yea, you are drunken, but not with wine; you stagger, but not with strong drink. For behold, the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep. For behold, ye have closed your eyes, and ye have rejected the prophets; and your rulers, and the seers hath he covered because of your iniquity.

And the Lord God has brought forth unto you the words of a book, and they are the words of them which have slumbered.

The Righteous Flee Unto Mount Zion
(I Know that My Redeemer Lives)

As the Lord's work proceeds, and the wicked fight against mount Zion, the Lord says unto his people, unto every soul, "Flee unto my mountain," and the righteous are fleeing, like a bird that is let go from the snare of the fowler. On Mount Zion, they stand in Holy places, they gird up their loins for the work, they take up their cross, and they feed his sheep, looking forth for his coming.

For
they know that a great work is proceeding in the land, even among the Gentiles, for the folly of the Gentiles and their abominations shall be made manifest in the eyes of all people. For the God of Israel is the author of the work and his arm is not shortened; he will show miracles, signs, and wonders, unto all those who believe on his name.

And whoso shall ask it in his name, in faith, they shall cast out devils; they shall heal the sick; they shall cause the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak, and the lame to walk.
And the poor and the meek shall have the gospel preached unto them, and they shall be looking forth for the time of my coming, for it is nigh at hand.

Lift up your voices and spare not. Call upon the nations to repent, both old and young, both bond and free, saying: Prepare yourselves for the great day of the Lord;

For if I, who am a man, do lift up my voice and call upon you to repent, and ye hate
me, what will ye say when the day cometh when the thunders shall utter their voices from the ends of the earth, speaking to the ears of all that live, saying—Repent, and prepare for the great day of the Lord?

Yea, and again, when the lightnings
shall streak forth from the east unto the west, and shall utter forth their voices unto all that live, and make the ears of all tingle that hear, saying these words—Repent ye, for the great day of the Lord is come?

O, ye nations of the earth, how often would I have gathered you together as a hen
gathereth her chickens under her wings, but ye would not!

How oft have I called
upon you by the mouth of my servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by mine own voice, and by the voice of thunderings, and by the voice of lightnings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes, and great hailstorms, and by the voice of famines and pestilences of every kind, and by the great sound of a trump, and by the voice of judgment, and by the voice of mercy all the day long, and by the voice of glory and honor and the riches of eternal life, and would have saved you with an everlasting salvation, but ye would not!

More About this Website

The coming forth of the voices from the dust, testifying of the work of the God of Israel, to redeem mankind from their lost and fallen state, is published by the LDS Church, as the Book of Mormon, and constitutes part of the fulfillment of the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah, as recorded in the 29th chapter of his book, in the Old Testament of the Bible.

However, the redemption of Israel is a central theme of the entire book of Isaiah. In fact, it reflects the central message of all the holy scriptures, which is that the God of Israel is the God of the whole earth and he commands all men everywhere to repent and to come unto him, in the name of his Son, the Holy One of Israel.

This website will help visitors to understand the many details of that message, by placing the events associated with it in their proper historical context, and by expounding on the meaning of current events, viewed in that context.
